Earlier this week, prior to the worldwide release of their new music video, Jordan Rizzo, lead singer and guitarist for the band, announced the departure of bandmates, Gidge Delaney (Bass) and Brett Sewell (Drums) via a post on Twitter...
[ Let me first start off by saying that ATF pretty much has the greatest fans ever created. You have given us nothing but mad crazy love, and support! And for that we are forever grateful! I know I myself could never conjure up a good enough reason to climb out of bed every day if it wasn't for the love I knew I had waiting for me! Every show, every fan letter, every tweet, even the ones that sparked controversy, have been nothing short of amazing. And because of that, I promise that ATF will continue to deliver nothing short of the best! With that being said, it is with a heavy heart that I must announce the departure on the best drummer to ever wield a stick, Brett "The Beef" Sewell, and the best heart pumping bassist ever to strum a string, Gidge "G" Delaney. In the great words of The Byrds, to everything, there is a season. And my season with them was the best fucking ride ever. And while I'm sure we'd all love to cling at the chance to keep the ride going, some things are actually more important than the music, and in order to salvage that, we've agreed to part ways. By no means should this make anyone think that we are at odds with each other. I'll gladly give my life for either one of them! And would battle anyone who had ill words to say about either one of them. This decision was purely based on love, and we'd appreciate the continued love and support in the midst of this change. In my eyes, they will ALWAYS be ATF! And they will surely always be family. And I'm sure they both have amazing things planned for the future, of which, I am already a fan!
ATF will keep going strong having gone through change before. And while I am not currently seeking a new drummer and bassist as of yet, anyone is more than welcomed to send in inquiries and demo tapes. But for now, we'll let the dust settle! And to make this moment at least bitter sweet, please stay tuned for the world premiere of our video "Prisoners Of War."

While no further explanations have been given on the reasonings behind their departures, representatives for the band do promise that this is by no means the end of After The Fall, and have given hope to all of their fans that the music will keep coming. No announcements have been made on replacements, but the invitation for demo tapes have been extended to all who'd like to apply.
